The Lee County Clerk of Courts is having a special Operation Green Light Drivers License Reinstatement Event this year.
Who: This event is for anyone who has a suspended license as a result of past-due fines, fees, court costs, traffic tickets and other accounts that are in collections and resulted in a suspended driver's license. The specific types and amounts are up to the Lee County Clerk of Courts. You can either call (239-533-5000) or stop by the Clerk’s office. Anticipate long hold-times on the phone, you will likely be serviced faster by going in person.
What: During this special week, the Lee County Clerk of Court has been authorized to reduce amounts on certain fees and collection costs. This will allow Lee County residents of Lee County with suspended licenses to make positive steps forward in getting their driver's license reinstated.
When: Saturday, October 12th, 9 am to 2 pm at the Lee County Clerk of Courts.
Monday, Oct. 14th to Friday, Oct. 18th, 7:45 am to 7 pm at the Lee County Clerk of Courts.
Monday, Oct. 14th to Friday, Oct. 18th, 8 am to 5 pm at the Lee County Clerk of Courts. Cape Coral Office.
Where: At the main Lee County Clerk of Court’s office: 2075 Martin Luther King, Jr BLVD, Fort Myers, FL 33901n
And at the Cape Coral Office during their normal business hours on the days of the event: 1039 SE 9th Place, 2nd Floor, Cape Coral, FL 33990
Why: Because having your license suspended simply for monetary reasons doesn’t help anybody. Being able to drive will help you get to work, getting to work
